Responsibilities:
- Leading and mentoring one fast recovery team working in shift
- Standby during vessel operations for immediate assistance requested
- Carry out troubleshooting and remedial works in case of machine breakdown during operation
- Carry out maintenance works of prime mover/trailer, reach stacker, heavy forklifts and other small mobilizing equipment as assigned or in line with planned maintenance in system
- Carry out pre operation tests, regular inspections and hour meter taking on respective equipment to ensure that machines always in good conditions and safe for operation
- Update all checklists, maintenance and repair data of the equipment regularly for the analysis so that able to assist in the necessary analysis and planning for improvement
- Assist the superior/technical executive in planning and supervision of maintenance/repair works carried out by maintenance contractors to meet PTP quality standard as earlier agreed
- Assist the superior/technical executive in planning and coordinating the equipment availability as required by operations. Interact and coordinate with other division etc. operations on the implementation and effectiveness of pre operation check/inspection system
- Prepare and submit report/recommendation to his superior/technical executive for any breakdown or equipment status
- Co-ordinate with store unit on the availability of spares
Requirements:
- Possess minimum certificate on automotive engineering from a recognized institution / university
- At least 1 year experience in maintenance of industrial automotives electrical and mechanical systems
- Have experience / knowledge in automotive engineering majoring in electrical or electronic field Able to carry out the engineering troubleshooting work with supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English and Malay (verbal and written) is preferable
- Have ability to prepare the technical report
