ECHOES OF LIFE contains thematic chapters with vivid illustrations from a myriad of perspectives – a rare glimpse into the rich biodiversity of Sungai Pulai Mangroves, Merambong island and the Merambong Seagrass meadow.

This is the first attempt at documenting the terrestrial and marine lives of the three distinct areas as well as the activities of Man, including the Sea Gypsies who have settled along Sungai Pulai since time immemorial.

Fully illustrated with full coloured photographs and written in plain language to appeal to everyone, this coffee table book is the result of the long term collaboration between Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) and Malaysian Nature Society Johor (MNSJ). Echoes of Life touches on environmental sustainability in the face of development within the area.
