SEGAMAT: Auxiliary policemen and women from 25 governmental and private agencies, graduated from their two month training course recently.

The training commenced in September this year after the trainees attended the 4/2012 Basic Course series that was held at the Batu Anam police training centre here.

The training centre's commander deputy superintendent Muhammad Nor Abidin Jusoh said this was the first batch of auxiliary police officers who attended training at the newly opened facility.

"The police training centre in Bakri, Muar, will be closed early next year and all its programmes will be replaced by the centre here," he added.

Muhammad Nor Abidin said that the 25 agencies who sent their employees for training included Felda Security, Anti Narcotics Agency and Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM).
