Convo joy for PTP staff

Sedaya College recently held a convocation ceremony for graduates of its Diploma in Logistics Operations, which is moderated by the University of East London, UK.

The ceremony was held at Port Tanjung Pelepas, Johor.
 
Sedaya College is the official training provider for Port Tanjung Pelepas, having offered the logistics programme since 1999.
 
The diploma was offered to PTP staff through Sedaya a year ago to enable them to upgrade their qualifications, knowledge and skills in a highly competitive working environment.
 
President and CEO of Sedaya College Datuk Peter Ng and Executive Director Mohd Sidik were on hand to officiate the auspicious event.
 
Port Tanjung Pelepas, which has one of the largest container yards in South East Asia, is strategically located at the tip of South West Peninsular Malaysia and a mere 45 minutes from international shipping lanes.
 
The five main modules for the diploma are the environment of logistics, inbound and outbound logistics systems, supply chain management, warehousing and logistics system management.
 
Graduates from the diploma programme can advance to the Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Corporate Strategy, and upon completion, they can pursue a Master degree in Logistics from the University of East London.
