Malaysian port rail link on target

Construction of a 31.5km railway line connecting the Port of Tanjung Pelepas to the KTM Bhd main line at Senai, Johor, is 10% complete and is on course to open by July 2002.
When completed, the railway will link Johor Port Bhd and the port of Tanjung Pelepas.
Construction of the line is being carried out by Indian company, Ircon, under a RM460m (US$121m) counter trade deal.
