PTP Q3 Volume Increases

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), South-east Asia's fastest growing transshipment hub, handled approximately 560,000 TEUs (twenty foot equivalent units) from July to Sept this year.
This represented a continuous growth over Q2's 541,000 TEUs of year 2001, PTP said in a statement Wednesday.
Handling volumes from January to Sept this year totalled 1.48 million TEUs (twenty foot equivalent unit of containers). -- BERNAMA
