PTP sets move per hour world record

Malaysia’s Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) reports it set a new world berth productivity record of 340 gross berth moves per hour on May 11, during operations Maersk Sealand vessel.
 
The previous world record of 336 gross berth moves was set in 2001.
 
The new record is a 12.6 per cent improvement over the prior PTP record of 302 gross berth moves set in February.
