PTP signs agreement on super post-panamax quayside cranes

The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), signed an agreement in late September with Italian Noell Crane Systems on the supply of five quayside cranes and 15 rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes for its operations.

Officials from Noell and PTP, as well as 80 quests from the port, shipping and port equipment sectors attended the official signing ceremony, held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Johor Bahru.
PTP chairman Mohamad Taufik Abdullah, chairman of PTP signed on behalf of PTP, David Bertozzi, Noell Fantuzzi Regianne group CEO, represented Noell.
 
Noell will be supplying PTP five units of super post-panamax quayside cranes and 15 units of RTG cranes. The 5 units of Super Post Panamax quayside cranes from Noell are the largest quay cranes ever installed in South East Asia. The quay cranes have an outreach of 60 metres and the capacity to handle 22 boxes across a container vessel.
