PTP to partake in US C-TPAT

The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), who serves as a regional container transhipment hub for Maersk Sealand and Evergreen Marine, have agreed to partake in the US initiated C-TPAT (customs-trade partnership against terrosim). Embassy officials and visiting US customs representatives have been carrying out talks. Port Klang have also agreed to participate in the initiative, prompted by September the 11th.
