Rise in cargo handling by Johor ports seen

Cargo handling by Pasir Gudang Port and the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Johor is expected to rise in line with the accelerated development of several projects to raise their operating capacity this year. Johor Port Bhd (JPB), the operator of Pasir Gudang Port in south-east Johor, is in the process of implementing projects to facilitate warehousing and palm oil storage in the port limits, while PTP is increasing its berthing facilities by another eight wharves from this year.
