Tanjung Pelepas gets another service

Tanjung Pelepas will welcome its first Safari service call on April 11th when the 2,829 teu Sea-Land Express makes the maiden stop on the New Safari service, involving, Maersk Sealand, Safmarine and Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC).
The 2,829 teu Sea-Land Express will make the first call on the new service, which will deploy seven ships, each around 2,800 teu capacity.
For Maersk Sealand, it will increasing its calls at Tanjung Pelepas and adding to line's existing southeast Asia transhipment business over the port. For MSC, it will be the first call by the line.
Ports of call on the New Safari service will include, Keelung, Busan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Louis, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Capetown, Durban, Port Louis, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong, Keelung.
Maersk Sealand has priority berthing arrangements recently put in place at Port Louis, which will predominantly cater for the new service requirements
