MMC Berhad : PTP Welcomes Madrid Maersk

Gelang Patah, 30 May 2017 - Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group became the first port in Southeast Asia to welcome Madrid Maersk, a 20,568 TEU container vessel and the first "second generation" Triple-E class vessel owned by Maersk Line, the world's largest container shipping company. Madrid Maersk, which arrived at PTP on 16 May 2017, is on its maiden voyage for the Asia - Europe (AE 2) service loop of the 2M alliance network.
