Muhammad Abdullah HattaChief Financial Officer


Muhammad Abdullah Hatta joined PTP as Deputy Chief Executive Officer on 2nd February 2016 and assumed the post of Chief Financial Officer on 5th August 2016.

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from University of Malaya.

Prior to joining PTP, Hatta was with Medini Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Senior Vice President – Finance. He started his career in Anuarul Azizan Chew & Co. before joining Ernst & Young Malaysia in 1994.  He subsequently joined Golden Pharos Berhad in 1997 as the Group Accountant before joining DRB-HICOM in 2000.  In 2007, he joined Westport Malaysia Sdn Bhd and assumed the post of Chief Financial Officer in 2010.  

Muhammad Abdullah Hatta is a Chartered Accountant with Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Joe Schofield joined PTP as Chief Operations Officer on 1st November 2016.

He is a graduate of the APM Terminals Magnum program and holds multiple qualifications in Maritime studies, Executive Leadership and Transport & Distribution.

Prior to joining PTP, Joe was the Chief Operations officer for Port of Salalah, Oman. He was also previously the General Manager of Operations for APM Terminals based in Dubai, UAE. 

Joe has 23 years of industry experience covering multiple modes of operation, countries and diverse cultures.

Hesham Ahmed Mohamed Ali Nossier joined PTP as Head of Engineering & Facilities Division on 17th September 2019. 
 
He holds a Degree in BSC Mechanical Engineer from Egypt.
 
Prior to joining PTP, Hesham has worked at various APM Terminal for 16 years. At Suaz Canal Container Terminal, he worked as Engineer Shift Manager for 4 years followed by 4 years at Tangiers as the Maintenance Manager. He then moved on to Ghana as the Head of Engineering & Facilities for 2 years before heading to Bahrain as General Manager of Engineering & Facilities. In addition to that, he also served Port of Mina Saqr, UAE as a Crane Engineer and as a Maintenance Engineer at King Abdullah Aziz Port, Saudi Arabia.
 
With more than 25 years of experience in port and engineering industry, Hesham aspires to drive PTP to the next level to achieve its mission and vision.

Jaizal Kamar Jalaludin Head of Human Capital Management

Jaizal Kamar Jalaludin joined PTP as Head of Human Capital Management on 2nd November 2015.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Leeds, UK.
 
Prior to joining PTP, Jaizal was the Head of Human Resources at Sapura Kencana Petroleum Berhad. He was also previously the Human Resources Director for Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad , Carrefour Malaysia & Singapore and Global HR Manager for Dunham Bush Holdings Berhad.

Jaizal has an extensive background in HR, having served in a wide range of industries including aviation, transportation, manufacturing, oil and gas and retail. His geographical work coverage spanned throughout the Asia Pacific region, UK and the USA.

Khairul Amalin Abd RahmanHead of Health, Safety, Security & Environment

Khairul Amalin Abd RahmanHead of Health, Safety, Security & Environment


Khairul Amalin Abd Rahman joined PTP as Head of Health, Safety and Environment on 29 November 2018 and was later promoted to Head of Health, Safety, Security and Environment on 1 February 2020.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota, USA and Master’s of Business Administration from University of Technology Malaysia.

Prior to joining PTP, Khairul Amalin was with Texas Instruments where he took on numerous roles such as safety specialist, occupational hygienist, environmental specialist, emergency response team manager, HSE Manager and Regional Manager being his last role. Before that, he worked at MIMOS Semiconductor (M) Sdn Bhd as an Integration Engineer.

With more than 15 years’ experience in HSE and Response Team, Khairul Amalin will lead PTP’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment Division towards a better future and transformation.

Prakash Thurairasasingam has been with PTP since December 1999 and was subsequently appointed as the Head of Commercial on 1st April 2016. 
 
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from University Southern Queensland, Australia and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Nottingham Trent University, UK.

Prior to joining PTP, he was with Westports Malaysia as Information Technology Executive from March 1997 until December 1999. He was also with Johor Port, a multipurpose port, which is an associate company of PTP, developing new projects from bunker fuel to capitalize on growth of the group, and overseas expansion. 

His knowledge and experience accumulated over the years are invaluable to PTP as he takes the function to the next level in securing new revenue stream and developing new business in this volatile and challenging period.

Nilesh TimbadiaHead of Information Technology

Nilesh Timbadia joined PTP as Head of Information Technology Division on 4th May 2020.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology (“IT”) from University of Sunderland, United Kingdom and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Communication from University of Wisconsin, USA.

Prior to joining PTP, he was with ICDAT Consulting based in Kuala Lumpur as Change & Project Delivery Director.

Nilesh brings in more than 30 years of experience in IT, serving various industries ranging from the energy sector in Shell and Petronas; manufacturing and supply chain sector in Texas Instruments, British American Tobacco, DHL, Minolta, and Sanden as well as the Government sector in Royal Customs, Sabah Land & Survey Department and Malaysian Airports.

Arjan WeerstandHead of Project Integration

Arjan WeerstandHead of Project Integration


Arjan Weerstand joined PTP as Head of Project Integration on January 1st, 2019.

He holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management as well as a Diploma in Project Management.

Prior to joining PTP, Arjan held the position of Head of Implementation at the United Nations Office for Project Services in Nairobi, where he was responsible for the implementation of the programme portfolio for Eastern & Southern Africa from 2016 till the end of 2018. Before that, he worked for APM Terminals from 2005 till 2015, where he managed the development and implementation of projects in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

With nearly 20 years of project management and leadership experiences in both the private as well as the public sector, Arjan has a track record of developing and professionalising teams to create an environment for project excellence.
