PTP third quarter volumes register increase

The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Malaysia handled approximately 560,000 TEU in the third quarter of this year from July to September, up 3.5 per cent over the second quarter's 541,000 TEU. Handling volumes from January to September totalled 1.48 million TEU. The third quarter also saw PTP increasing its productivity levels to a consistent 28 gross moves per hour per crane.
