The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Malaysia handled approximately 560,000 TEU in the third quarter of this year from July to September, registering continuous growth over the second quarters’s 541,000 TEU. Handling volumes from January to September totaled 1.48 million TEU. The third quarter also saw PTP increasing its productivity levels to a consistent 28 gross moves per hours per crane.
